Wallpaper - Kasumi Garden, Parchment Cream

Designed by Marta Cortese, our Kasumi Garden, Parchment Cream wallpaper brings an intricate botanical landscape into the home with a soft, aged aesthetic. Delicate bamboo canes rise through a lush gathering of blooming peonies, lilies, and wild floral clusters, anchored by stylized scalloped cloud borders along the lower foreground. Set against a warm parchment-toned background with subtle cloud motifs drifting above, the composition balances detailed botanicals with a quiet, open sky. Like all our wall murals, this design is made to measure, printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because the botanical weight of this design is concentrated across the lower and middle sections of the wall, we see it working exceptionally well in spaces where you want a grounded, decorative atmosphere without overwhelming the entire vertical plane. In a dining room or living room, placing this wallpaper along an open feature wall gives the tall bamboo stems and climbing florals plenty of space to breathe. The open parchment background at the top keeps the upper wall light, making it equally fitting for bedrooms behind a low headboard or along a hallway where the intricate floral details can be appreciated up close.

Styling it

To complement the delicate line work and painterly character of the design, we would keep the surrounding furnishings understated and natural. Consider pairing this mural wallpaper with warm wood tones, such as medium oak or vintage teak, which echo the earthy background without competing with the floral palette. Low-profile furniture works particularly well here, ensuring that the decorative scalloped motifs and dense blooms at the base remain visible.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper features a soft parchment base layered with ivory, blush pink, soft cornflower blue, muted green foliage, and deep charcoal in the scalloped border. We suggest pulling out the warmer cream and beige tones for adjacent walls and trim to create a cohesive, wrap-around atmosphere. For upholstery or accents, deep slate or charcoal can anchor the darker foreground elements, while subtle blush or pale blue textiles highlight the delicate petals throughout the garden scene.
