Wallpaper - Liria Eden, Blue Nocturne

Our Liria Eden, Blue Nocturne wallpaper by Marta Cortese captures an enchanted nocturnal woodland alive with movement and fine botanical detail. Set against deep, atmospheric shades of slate blue and dusky midnight teal, warm taupe and sandy beige linework delineates leaping hares, resting deer, perched birds, and stylized flora framed by graceful trees and an ornamental border along the lower edge. We particularly like how the balance of detailed foreground silhouettes and softer shadowed foliage creates a quiet sense of depth across the wall. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this mural wallpaper is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully on a main feature wall in a bedroom or dining room, where its narrative character and rich evening mood can anchor the entire space. Because the artwork features expressive trees on either flank and active wildlife moving through the lower and middle ground, it benefits from a wider, relatively uninterrupted wall area. In a bedroom, placing it behind a low headboard allows the upper canopy and soaring silhouettes to remain fully visible. In a living room or quiet study, the deep blue backdrop pairs naturally with warm ambient lamp light, which brings out the softer golden-taupe tones in the illustrated animals and leaves without overwhelming the room.

Styling it

To complement the rich, tapestry-like feel of this wallpaper, we would keep surrounding furniture clean-lined and grounded in warm, understated materials. Mid-tone or darker woods such as walnut or warm-stained oak echo the earthy tones of the linework while letting the scenic depth of the wall mural remain the primary visual focus. Upholstery in matte textures like brushed cotton, velvet, or wool in muted stone, warm taupe, or deep petrol helps tie the room together comfortably. For decorative accents, quiet finishes in antique brass or darkened bronze sit naturally alongside the nocturnal palette without creating harsh glare.

Colour combinations

The design is built around a refined palette of deep slate blue, dusky teal-grey, and soft warm taupe, accented with paler sandy beige. When choosing paint for adjacent walls or woodwork, a complementary muted blue-grey or shadowy slate creates an intimate, enveloping feel throughout the room. If you prefer more contrast, soft parchment, warm stone, or muted chalky whites on trims and ceilings keep the space balanced while allowing the deep nocturnal background of our mural wallpaper to stand out clearly.
