Wallpaper - Crocker Parchment, Oxblood

Our Crocker Parchment, Oxblood wallpaper brings together a subtle grid of square parchment panels with a rich, clouded reddish-brown wash. What we particularly like about this design is the quiet balance between structure and soft variation: the faint panel seams create an orderly rhythm across the wall, while the mottled oxblood tones shift gently from deep burgundy to warm russet. Like all our wallpapers, this design is custom made to your dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, creating an understated architectural backdrop.

In the room

Because the tonal contrast across the grid is soft and restrained, this design works across all four walls of a living room, dining room, or bedroom without feeling overwhelming. In a study or home library, the deep oxblood palette creates an intimate, enveloping atmosphere that anchors the space. In larger rooms with generous daylight, the clouded nuances across the individual panels become clearer to read, while in compact hallways or powder rooms, the tiled composition adds depth and quiet scale.

Styling it

We would pair this deep parchment motif with furnishings that have clean lines and solid silhouettes. Darker wood furniture, such as walnut or stained oak, complements the richness of the oxblood tones without competing with the panelled repeat. For contrast, painted furniture in warm stone or chalky off-white gives the wall space to stand out as a defined focal point.

When it comes to accent pieces, brushed bronze or antique brass hardware pairs naturally with the warm undertones of the red-brown palette. We suggest keeping surrounding textiles relatively simple, choosing woven fabrics in neutral shades like oatmeal or charcoal to let the wallpaper carry the textural interest.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built from deep oxblood red, muted burgundy, and subtle rust-brown undertones within the shaded panels.

Around the room, we suggest working with warm off-whites, soft bone, or muted stone on adjacent walls, ceilings, and baseboards to provide clean relief against the darker surface. For a richer, more cohesive interior scheme, deeper complementary tones such as forest green, espresso brown, or warm taupe on larger furniture pieces and curtains harmonise beautifully with the reddish palette.
