Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Sage Milk

Our Ginkgo Folia wallpaper in Sage Milk brings together layered, fan-shaped ginkgo leaves with delicate vein linework, creating an elegant and rhythmic botanical repeat. The soft sage green and gentle milky off-white tones sit in low contrast, giving the pattern a calm, refined character that feels timeless rather than busy. Designed by Wallism Studio, this is one of our mural wallpapers that introduces subtle visual movement without overwhelming the room. Like all of our wallpapers, it is custom made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, making it simple and straightforward to hang.

In the room

We love how the fan-shaped geometry of our Ginkgo Folia design flows across larger surfaces. Because the contrast between the pale sage background and the leaf outlines is gentle, this wallpaper works beautifully across all four walls in a bedroom, dining room, or living room rather than being restricted to a single accent wall. In smaller spaces like a powder room, entryway, or home office, the scalloped arrangement of leaves adds depth and texture without making the area feel enclosed. The intricate leaf veins show off their delicate detail in generous daylight, while softer artificial light in the evening brings out the quiet warmth of the sage and milky cream tones.

Styling it

When styling around this botanical motif, we recommend pairing it with quiet, organic elements that echo its gentle rhythm:

• Choose furniture with clean, rounded silhouettes and warm, lighter wood tones such as ash or bleached oak to complement the soft botanical curves.
• Introduce natural linen or wool textiles in soft ivory, muted oat, or pale olive to maintain a balanced, layered feel across curtains, bedding, or upholstery.
• Add brushed brass, muted bronze, or warm ceramic accents to pick up on the subtle Art Deco undertones of the fan-shaped repeat.

Colour combinations

The palette of this wallpaper is built on muted sage green, soft tea-green shading, and creamy, milky white linework. When selecting colours for adjacent walls, baseboards, and woodwork, we like using soft off-whites, warm chalky neutrals, or deeper muted olive and forest greens that pull directly from the botanicals. For surrounding painted furniture or cabinetry, warm putty tones or rich lichen greens provide a grounding contrast while keeping the space cohesive.
