Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Olive Haze

Our Ginkgo Folia, Olive Haze wallpaper pairs a repeating fan-shaped ginkgo leaf pattern with soft, muted olive green tones. Designed by Wallism Studio, the composition overlaps delicate botanical foliage with fine line details across the leaves, creating a calm visual rhythm and an organic, scalloped flow across the wall. The gentle tonal contrast gives the botanical motif an understated elegance that sits quietly in the background without overwhelming a room. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions, printed PVC-free, and produced on paper with a subtle surface structure that makes it easy to hang.

In the room

Because of its continuous, scalloped repeat and gentle contrast, this design works gracefully across both large living rooms and more compact spaces like bedrooms, hallways, or dining rooms. In a bedroom, we like using it on the wall behind the headboard to introduce subtle nature-inspired movement. The density of the overlapping ginkgo leaves means the pattern holds up beautifully even on walls broken up by doorways or windows, while still creating an enveloping atmosphere when applied across all four walls in a study or dressing room.

Styling it

The soft olive green palette and Art Nouveau-inspired leaf geometry pair effortlessly with both classic and modern interior styles.

We suggest combining this wallpaper with warm, natural wood tones such as walnut or mid-tone oak, which ground the leafy greens. Upholstered furniture in oatmeal, linen, or warm off-white creates a gentle contrast, while brushed brass accents or muted ceramics pick up on the refined botanical linework without competing for attention.

Colour combinations

The design itself features soft, dusty olive green, pale sage, and muted warm grey undertones. When choosing paint or accents for adjacent walls, trim, or larger furniture, consider:

• Warm off-white or soft linen tones for surrounding walls and baseboards, keeping the overall atmosphere light and airy.
• Muted forest green or deeper olive tones on woodwork or cabinetry to create a sophisticated, tone-on-tone effect.
• Gentle earthy neutrals, such as warm beige, terracotta, or soft ochre accents, to bring warmth into the room.
