Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Feather

Our Ginkgo Folia, Feather wallpaper features an overlapping canopy of fan-shaped ginkgo leaves, rendered in a restrained monochrome palette of soft grey and pale stone. What we particularly like about this design is the balance between the broad silhouettes of the leaves and the delicate, linear veins etched across each petal-like form. The continuous repeat creates a gentle visual rhythm that gives a room subtle movement without high contrast. Produced as made-to-measure wallpaper, each order is printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, making it straightforward to hang.

In the room

The subdued grey palette and dense yet calm repeat make this wallpaper easy to place across different residential spaces. In a bedroom, we like positioning it on the wall behind the headboard, where the gentle overlapping foliage adds depth without overwhelming quieter bedtime lighting. It works just as naturally in a living room, dining area, or a calm home office, where the low-contrast botanical rhythm softens flat wall expanses. Because the contrast remains soft throughout the motif, you can comfortably wrap this design around all four walls of a room or use it across an uninterrupted feature wall without the pattern feeling heavy.

Styling it

To complement the delicate line work and muted grey tones of our wallpaper, we suggest keeping surrounding furnishings understated and grounded.

• Pair with warm, pale wood furniture such as natural ash, light birch, or whitewashed oak to bring warmth against the cool grey background.
• Introduce softly textured textiles, like washed linen drapery or a low-pile wool rug in off-white, oatmeal, or pebble grey, to echo the organic feel of the botanical motif.
• Accent with subtle matte black or brushed metal details on lighting fixtures and cabinet hardware to give the gentle pattern a crisp, modern outline.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on a soft foundation of light grey, dove grey, and subtle off-white leaf outlines. Around it, we recommend working with warm neutrals to prevent the space from feeling too cool. Creamy whites, warm alabaster, and soft greige on adjoining walls and woodwork blend harmoniously with the background. For a richer accent, deep slate, muted charcoal, or earthy clay tones in smaller decorative pieces create an attractive focal point alongside the wallpaper.
