Wallpaper - Ginko Folly, Olive Parchment

In our Ginko Folly, Olive Parchment design, we have arranged stylised ginkgo leaves into an elegant, repeating fan pattern that carries distinct Art Deco and botanical influences. Fine radiating line work brings delicate visual detail to each leaf, outlined in muted olive green against a soft parchment cream backdrop. The rhythmic scale balances geometric order with organic curves, creating an inviting, structured rhythm that feels both classic and calm. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your room dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure.

In the room

Because the repeating fan motif has an even, balanced rhythm, we see this working exceptionally well across all four walls in a bedroom, dining room, or hallway. In smaller spaces like an entryway or powder room, the scalloped geometry wraps around corners smoothly without feeling interrupted. In a larger living room or home office, it creates an elegant backdrop that brings architectural structure to uninterrupted wall surfaces, adding visual depth without overwhelming the space.

Styling it

We suggest balancing the graphic curves of the wallpaper with clean, considered interior pieces. Mid-century modern furniture or classic silhouettes in warm wood tones, such as teak or dark oak, naturally complement the vintage architectural mood. For surrounding materials, soft matte brass hardware and unbleached cotton or tailored linen upholstery help draw out the warmth of the parchment ground while keeping the overall room calm and refined.

Colour combinations

The design itself features deep olive green outlines and fine vein details set over a warm, parchment-toned cream base. When painting adjacent walls, woodwork, or ceiling trim, we love pairing it with soft warm whites, muted stone, or gentle oatmeal tones to keep the scheme light and cohesive. For a richer, more tailored atmosphere, picking up the olive green on baseboards, doors, or built-in cabinetry creates a grounded and immersive look.
