Wallpaper - Ginko Folly, Ivory Sand

Our Ginko Folly wallpaper in Ivory Sand pairs the fan-like silhouette of ginkgo leaves with an orderly geometric scallop repeat. Fine radiating line work across each leaf adds delicate visual texture, framed by soft warm sand outlines against a calm ivory ground. The rhythmic arching structure brings a subtle Art Deco character to the wall without feeling overly sharp or heavy. Produced made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design offers an elegant botanical pattern with an airy, balanced presence.

In the room

The repeating scale and gentle contrast make this pattern versatile across different room layouts. In a bedroom, we like it placed behind the bedhead as a calm focal point, where the rhythmic arches create a structured yet organic backdrop. Because the tonal contrast between ivory and soft sand remains gentle, the wallpaper can also wrap around all four walls of a dining room, hallway, or guest room without overwhelming the space. On walls broken up by doorways or windows, the repeating geometry holds its visual flow nicely across separate sections.

Styling it

We suggest pairing this design with natural materials and considered silhouettes that echo its classic yet modern geometry. Warm wood furniture, such as walnut or mid-toned oak, anchors the pale ivory backdrop, while soft neutral upholstery in off-white or beige keeps the room feeling cohesive and calm. Subtle metallic accents like brushed brass or antique bronze harmonize naturally with the warm sand outlines, nodding to the design's understated Art Deco influence.

Colour combinations

The pattern centres on soft ivory and muted warm sand. To build a balanced palette around the wallpaper, look to warm off-whites, cream, and gentle beige tones for adjacent walls and woodwork. If you want to introduce subtle contrast, muted taupe or deeper caramel shades on painted cabinets or upholstery bring out the warmth of the linework while keeping the overall palette refined.
