Wallpaper - Ginko Folly, Ochre Linen

In our Ginko Folly wallpaper in Ochre Linen, we bring together a stylized Art Deco fan repeat with the delicate anatomy of ginkgo leaves. Fine, radiating vein lines fill each leaf silhouette, bordered by bold ochre contours that create an architectural scalloped rhythm against a soft linen-beige background. The balanced geometry gives the pattern an orderly, inviting flow across the wall without overwhelming the space. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure, and is designed to be straightforward to hang.

In the room

The repeating scallop structure gives this design an elegant, steady presence that works beautifully across both small and large spaces. In an entryway or hallway, the upward arch of the ginkgo leaves draws the eye along the walls, turning high-traffic pass-throughs into deliberate design statements. In a bedroom behind a headboard or surrounding a dining area, the balanced rhythm establishes an intimate, structured backdrop that feels polished yet understated.

Because the repeat is medium in scale and relies on a refined, two-tone palette, Ginko Folly adapts comfortably to varied wall compositions. It can cover all four walls of a living room or home office without feeling visual crowded, or serve as a focused accent behind lower furniture pieces where the fan shapes remain clearly visible.

Styling it

When styling around this pattern, we like pairing it with elements that respect its geometric clarity and warm, neutral palette.

• Ground the room with warm mid-tone woods or rich walnut pieces, which naturally pick up the earthy depth in the ochre linework.
• Choose furniture with clean, gentle curves or Art Deco inspired silhouettes to echo the arching contour of the ginkgo fans.
• Keep surrounding upholstery and larger textiles in simple, woven textures and muted off-white tones so the wallpaper carries the decorative pattern in the space.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on warm ochre gold and soft, creamy linen beige. To build a cohesive room around it, we suggest pairing adjacent walls or woodwork with warm stone, pale parchment, or soft cream to maintain a light, tonal aesthetic. If you prefer a richer contrast, deep moss green, warm olive, or muted charcoal on cabinetry or painted trim accentuate the architectural lines of the pattern without competing with its warm ochre core.
